learn the art of japanese calligraphy

Calligrapher Lanka will introduce you the way of writing, Shodo/書道.
In Lanka's hands-on calligraphy workshop, participants can learn basic Japanese writing techniques and find balance within themselves through the meditative process.
The workshop starts with basics of calligraphy, which is how to use the brush and ink, posture and manners. Participants are introduced to the eight basic strokes of Japanese calligraphy, resulting in drawing the character 永.

You will leave this workshop relaxed, inspired and prepared to use Japanese calligraphy for your own art. Maybe this is also even an idea for your Christmas gifts.
